House Details
Located in Le Marche, in the commune of Monte San Martino, Casa Lola is a 5 bedroom house, with 2 bathrooms and downstairs loo.
On the top floor (2nd floor) there is a double and a twin bedroom, with an adjoining shower-room. On the 1st floor there is a large double bedroom and 2 twins, along with a big family bathroom. The ground floor houses the kitchen and sitting / living room, with an additional lavatory. The 1st and ground floor is separated by an external staircase - a typical Italian feature of the area.
The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV for DVD player (no TV channels) with a large library of films, CD player, (please bring your own music) two cots and a camp bed, 2 highchairs and a baby bouncer chair for babies under 6 months (we are continually working at making this a baby friendly house, ).
The kitchen is well appointed and spacious with all the mod-cons and a several excellent cookery books to test your skills. There is a 30ft long yellow stone walled sitting-room connected to it.
Outside It has a large terracotta terrace looping around the front and side of the house with a Wisteria pergola where guests sit under for those long lazy summer lunches.
For the more energetic there is a large games building that houses a trampoline, ping pong, pool and table football.
The garden stretches below the property and to the west. There are fig, olive and fruit trees that guests are welcome to pick from and eat when ripe.
A private fenced 9 x 6 metre south facing swimming pool is located just below the house, it has a Wisteria Pergola and table and chairs for that evening glass of chilled prosecco; with spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding rolling hills. It also has a large terracotta terrace with deluxe French pool-side furniture.
Finally the barbecue for those wonderful warm al-fresco suppers.
This is a perfect house for families and or / groups of friend, being located away from the road (which is very quiet) and in a wonderfully rural location.
The 360 degree views from the house are amazing with distant sea views to the East and the magnificent Sibillini mountains to the West. Le Marche is a fabulously beautiful place, whatever the weather.
